Social Buying Storefront

SimplicityDX reached out to help them design and guide their new consumer-facing product — their dynamic new social storefront. With minimal wireframes and a brief, I was able to create a mini design system to help their developers build out a modern shop UI that had the flexibility for each SDX customer to add and remove features where needed.

A purely mobile experience to help ad campaign managers display products and offers pulled through from social media channels — Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

I also designed an efficient component library in Figma, which I then handed over to the development team with clear guidance and support. This library standardised type scales, colour palettes, and icon sets across all consumer-facing components, ensuring a smooth transition and consistent implementation throughout the project.

Landing Agent Product

After helping to launch the consumer-facing mobile storefront for SimplicityDX, I moved on to designing the backend experience for shop agents. This platform allows agents to manage their stores with a live visual preview, adding single or multiple products, category items, and a social home feed. I focused on making the product picker more visual, with larger images, prices, and promotional status, to enhance usability and clarity.

UI Design

The high-fidelity UI was built on top of the component library, applying a clean, product-first visual language. The design prioritises the product imagery and offers, keeping the chrome minimal so the social content and products remain the hero of the experience.
